Review Project Objectives (6:00 – 6:10)
ERC will provide a brief introduction to the project including the purpose of the Environmental Report and how it relates to the Draft Conservation Easement and the future Valley Floor Management Plan
Project Status Summary (6:10 – 6:20)
ERC will review the different phases and disciplines of work that have been completed to date on the Valley Floor as part of the Environmental Report
Sensitive Areas Summary (6:20 – 6:30)
One of the outcomes from the scientific studies that have been completed is the definition of different areas within the Valley Floor that have varying degrees of sensitivity. ERC will summarize how different areas were ranked and discuss what ranking means in terms of future management
Management Recommendations (6:30 – 7:15)
The Environmental Report is intended to provide the scientific basis for the Town’s future management decisions. Information developed during the preparation of the report that will help direct management decisions will be discussed
Restoration Opportunities (7:15 – 7:45)
As part of the Environmental Report, specific features and areas that are negatively affecting the overall ecological value of the Valley Floor were identified. Specific areas where restoration would be most beneficial will be discussed. The discussion will include concepts for possible restoration along with considerations
Review Comments/Questions (7:45 – 8:30)
The Draft Environmental Report is a work in progress. Public input is encouraged and ways to have public comments evaluated prior to finalizing the report will be discussed.
